More good news today... (Neko, Ryan Adams (maybe), Raveonettes, now Amadou?!). Lovely Malian husband and wife duo Amadou and Mariam have finally locked down a solid US label and release date for their forthcoming Pitchfork approved record Welcome to Mali. We are glad to say that Nonesuch Records again has their hand in this one, releasing the record March 24th in collaboration with Because Music. While we loved Dimanche a Bamako, ALL of their records are worth listening to. Just add Welcome to Mali to the list. I mean, A&M even got Damon Albarn to produce a track on this ("Sabali").
