Set to release their ninth full-length, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Animal Collective will do so on vinyl, before compact (vinyl release date, Jan. 6 on Domino.) The record will come equipped with a digital download card as well. In a society that is becoming all the more cyclical in nature exemplified through the current financial crisis, war-laden developing countries, or just high pants, suspenders and nice fedoras, Vinyl is next to reemerge.
