Funeral Party just came to us via Warner Independent. This five-piece "electro-rock" group from Whitter, CA (no idea where that is) just dropped a very Black Kids-esque EP, Bootleg, this week. We have been spinning one of the catchiest tunes from the extended play, "Carwars" (mp3 above.) Their debut full-length is due April 21, 2009. Keep an eye out. Until then, blast this track and annoy those square co-workers, you may or may not share an office with.

Whittier, CA is in North Orange County. I live 5 min. from there, I don't know how I missed them. Likin' it though.
I Grew up in and still live in Whittier it's about 15-20 E. of Downtown L.A. But good to see some Chaps makin it out this town. They are pretty good got chance to see them recently, Loud, Tight. Best of Luck For them, Fireside Favourites.
