Another pop gem emerges from the West Coast via our good friends at Force Field PR. San Francisco's Still Flyin' combine the jaunting poppiness of Noah and the Whale, with the group-choral raucousness of MGMT. Some instrumental aspects recall newer Modest Mouse and the Black Kids, but the combination of all musical elements work nicely, giving way to spunky, listener-friendly tunes. After listening to "The Hott Chord is Struck," you'll see that it is definitely a hand clap song and the chorus is simply a modified take on Justice's "D.A.N.C.E." Can't beat it though. Their newest record, Never Gonna Touch the Ground, dropped April 21 on Ernest Jenning Record Co. See tour dates after the jump.
