We never heard of Caged Animals before. Then, they twittered something witty at us. We clicked, we liked. We searched the inbox, found a misplaced press release from their publicist, downloaded their new self titled album, and loved their fuzzy, highly melodic, tasteful songwriting even more. Now, we're writing about them, and are damn glad to have the album in our possession. Yes, it's that easy kids. Keep telling yourself twitter is lame and doesn't work. Not to take anything away from this solid band, it's just that in the age of 200 blog emails a day (to STARK of all places) it takes a little extra sugar to get noticed sometimes.
