Jagwar Ma: "The Throw"

We first got wind of Aussies Jagwar Ma in March from the good folks at up-and-coming label Blue Rider. After receiving the Best New Track crown from Pitchfork this week, we caught their new video for single "The Throw." While still looking backwards for influence, Jagwar Ma have dialed up the overdrive a touch and added edgier rhythmic progressions. There's still plenty Pulp, Suede, and Stone Roses references to keep us all happy though. Band to watch status for sure.
